T'was the month of Winter and all through the ship,
Not a gizka was squawking, not even a bit.
The passengers were snuggled, sleeping in their assigned bunk,
Except one Mandalorian, who was awake and slightly drunk.
As he sat at the table, a mug of ale at his side,
He stared at a lone gizka, no damage done to his pride.
When from the cargo hold arose such a clatter,
Canderous instantly jumped to see what was the matter,
HK had beaten him to the source of the sound,
His blaster drawn, pointed intently near the ground.
There it sat, a giant grin as it wiggled its butt,
A small, yellow gizka, plump and round like a hutt.

I fell to my knees. Excellent! Totally! Death, destruction, devastation… The planet was nothing more than a mass graveyard. And I felt responsible in ways I couldn't describe.
Awesome!
When I said I wanted to return to Dantooine, Canderous said I was crazy, that there was no point. Mission agreed, saying she had no interest in seeing another planet on fire. The others voiced no opinion. Not even Carth. Then again, Carth wasn't talking to me or anyone else. Ever since the Leviathan…

Hey gang. It's been a while since I last updated anything... art, stories, journals. Why? Well, I've been busy. With what? A new job!
That's right! I'm finally putting my degree to good use, and getting paid for it!
I've been hired as a writer for the Examiner to blog about video game news, reviews, and information in general. It's a lot of fun. Nothing I can make a living off of (yet), but it's still something. Plus it keeps me writing. I'm writing anywhere from three to five articles a week, and getting paid per page click.

It's been pretty exhausting (and expensive) around here lately. Why? Because someone somewhere decided to pack everything I love into three weeks almost back to back in an effort to drain my bank account.
Cliffnotes:
Event #1: The Eagles live in concert
Went with Dad. Loved! Bounced and sang along throughout the concert.
Event #2: Otakon in Baltimore, MD
Went with GMLink (https://www.deviantart.com/gmlink) and other friends. Loved! Took way too many pictures. Surprisingly enough, did not spend as much money as I anticipated, but I do have lots of new artwork for the "geek room".
Event #3: Gatecon in Vancouver, BC
Went with Halatia (https://www.deviantart.com/halatia) and other friends. Loved! Spen
I received a book in the mail yesterday: Star Wars: Specter of the Past. This will complete my Thrawn book collection as I'm finally reading book one in the Thrawn Trilogy, then moving on to The Hand of Thrawn series (because EthanVicor (https://www.deviantart.com/ethanvicor) is making me).
The only problem is, I have no recollection of ever ordering Specter of the Past, so I can only assume this is a birthday present.
So, um, thanks to whoever sent it...?
I just finished reading your latest chapter on "Broken Promises". I loved it and I was wondering if you had planned on finishing it. Your last pst was over six months ago.
